Whether the style is formal. casual or romantic, it's up to you.

You  could ignore me all day and I'll photograph what I see.

Kristina didn't want to pose for any pictures by Sean got her to do this.

We started photographing at the men's drumming circle and the women's sharing circle and followed the action all day. Their wedding was going to be outside at Camp David Jr. on the north side of Lake Crescent. Then they decided to have it in the lodge. Good thing. During the wedding thee was a downpour.

Before Kristina and Sean came in for the ceremony we all rehearsed a song to sing to them. The Shaman had us pass the rings around for everyone to bless. We sort of ran out of blessing time so the rest of us blessed them from afar.

One at a time Kristina and Sean came in the doors on opposite sides of the room, then turned facing out and contemplated the paths that brought them here. We sang. They gave each other gifts. Sean gave Kristina a dog bowl... oh, and a promise to get a dog. Outside it rained. They planted a rose bush and fed each other their favorite everyday food in recognition of their differences. Hers was salad and his was cereal. And the wedding fans blew bubbles all through the ceremony.

And the bride's maids cried. OK, well, everyone cried.

OK, I had nothing to do with this. It was all their idea. I was an innocent

bystander. But you know what was cool about this -- this was December,

outside. We did all their pictures outside.

Our relationships with our clients don't always end with their weddings.

Two years after their wedding we photographed their 1st pregnancy.

That's him on the left.

We laugh with them, we cry with them, we love with them and then we go home exhausted.

There's nothing I'd rather do.
